Elaine Ardizzone – Shares her creativity in style, flavors, and background. As a graduate of Cornell’s School of Hotel Administration and owner of multiple restaurants & bakery, she has started up & operated businesses for three decades, specializing in hospitality for food and beverage. Her love of wine started at a very young age when her Sicilian father introduced her to Salice Salentino (a unique red wine made from mostly Negroamaro grapes) from Puglia, Italy… even at 12 years old, she was inspired to be a part of his wine enthusiasm!
A Certified Sommelier, Elaine earned the highest score of her Court of Master Sommeliers class at the World Trade Center in 1995. One of her favorite aspects of wine is sharing it with others and showing them how wonderfully it shines when paired with the right foods & the right situation. She has taught wine training classes for beginners & fellow sommeliers alike. After running a successful baking business for over 16 years, she decided to jump back into her love of wine.
